Tips for Caring for Your Photo Collage
Once you receive your picture collage through the mail, you may wonder how to keep it looking new and fresh for years to come. If framing your collage, be sure to use acid-free matte board and backing papers. Frame your picture on a low humidity day, as high humidity can get trapped between the picture and the glass and cause staining in years to come. If storing your collage to frame at a later date, lay flat in a photo storage box and intersperse acid-free tissue to keep photos from sticking together.
Keep the collage away from direct sunlight to prevent sun fading. Do not get your collage wet as the paper may buckle and warp.
If you damage or lose your picture collage, contact us to get additional prints made. Digital files are kept for a minimum of one year from the date of purchase, but there's aways a chance that your file still exists. We will reprint an existing collage for $5 plus shipping, or for free if only a digital file is required.
